Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before confirming your reservation, as they
contain information about your rights and duties.
Kosisland transfers. as a means of assigning transport services via its website: www.kostransfers.
eu. The contract for the provision of transfer services is made between you and the
Transporter.
To complete your reservation, you must confirm that you accept the following terms, so it would be
prudent to have read and understood them. In case you do not understand a term, we recommend that
you contact us before making your reservation, so that we provide you with the necessary clarifications
you need. In addition, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to accept these terms and conditions
in your own name and on behalf of your co-passengers. Upon completion of your reservation, you have
to choose the method of payment and to arrange it if necessary. You also confirm that the credit or debit
card you are using is yours and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the
service. We reserve the right, if the payment cannot be made, to cancel the reservation and the service
is not performed. Also, you are obliged to inform Kos island Transfers and your co-passengers of any
modification or cancellation of your reservation. In case you are unwilling to engage with the terms and
conditions of Kos island Transfers then unfortunately you cannot make a reservation via our website.
Languages:
kos-transfers.eu is available in Greek, English. Customer service is only possible in Greek and English
currently. We pay great attention to the quality of the translations of the websites as well as the terms
and conditions, however in case of any deviation the Greek version is the one that prevails.
Services:
Your reservation is a contract between you and the Transporter. The task of Kos island Transfers is to facilitate
the conclusion of this contract. Elite Transfer does not accept any responsibility for any mistakes made
by the Transporter.
Kos island Transfers operates as a means of fulfilling reservation services of transfer in the name of the
transporter. In order to book a reservation for your transfer you will need to follow the relevant
reservation process on our website. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled
transfer.
Kos island Transfers reserves the right to refuse any transfer request. In this case, you will receive an e-mail to
be notified of this event, while you will be refunded the full amount (in euros) or you may be offered an
alternative service. All the approved reservations are confirmed by sending the booking form to the email
address you gave to us during the booking procedure. When you receive the booking form, it is
your responsibility to make sure that the information that appear are correct. Details about the
Transporter will only be given if your booking has been successful. All transfer services offered on our
site have been approved by the Transporter.
Reservation and service process:
During the booking process it is important to check that the information you provide are correct. If any
information is incorrect, you should contact us immediately, as this information is provided to the
Transporter in order to confirm the transfer service. The Transporter will use this information for your
boarding and transportation as close to your destination as possible, considering the characteristics of
the vehicle and the natural access conditions to the requested destination.
If due to special circumstances (for example infrastructure projects, traffic conditions, etc.) your direct
boarding on / getting off the vehicle is not possible, the Transporter will stop at the nearest possible
boarding on / getting off point. Also, if the shortest and most convenient route is closed due to an
accident, weather conditions, etc., and after customer’s request, the Transporter has to follow a
different, longer route to reach his destination, additional costs are likely to arise.
Immediately after the successful payment, you will receive a receipt and confirmation of payment via email.
The receipt of the payment is not a confirmation of your booking but serves to confirm that your
request is under elaboration by the Transporter. Once the Transporter accepts your request, you will
receive an email with your reservation as a booking form. This will be the official contract between you
and the Transporter. You must present this form to the driver at the beginning of your trip. The
Transporter may refuse the transfer if your booking form does not appear. Once your transfer is
complete, you will receive a service receipt attached to an e-mail within 24 hours.
Cost and payment methods:
Prices for the transfer services as well as payment procedures are displayed on our website. The
current price of each service is the price that appears on our website at the date and time of your
reservation. Once your booking is confirmed, you waive your right to pay the fare listed on the taximeter
during your transfer.
In the event that an error has occurred and the cost of the service is higher than stated in your
reservation, you will be notified so that either your reservation will be canceled (refunded) or will be
adjusted so that the price will be correct.
There are three options for payment. You can pay by credit or debit card, via PayPal or cash at the time
of your booking or upon arrival. The cards we accept are defined in the booking form on our website.
Our card issuers may charge some shipping costs that you have to undertake when you make your
payment. All prices listed are per vehicle and not per person.
Modifications to your reservation- General information:
If you wish to make any changes to your reservation, you must notify us at the following email address:
kostransfers@mail.com. The change in your reservation will be confirmed if you receive a reply
message to the email address you provided. The change must be sent at least 24 hours before your
transfer.
In case the change in the reservation leads to a higher price (different destination, vehicle size, etc.),
you will be notified by message about the additional costs, as well as about the method of payment of
the additional amount. If modifying your reservation reduces the total amount, the difference will be
refunded.
Up to two modifications per reservation are allowed free of charge. Additional modifications are subject
to management costs of 10 euros, which must be paid at least 24 hours before your scheduled transfer.
If you change your reservation less than 24 hours before your transfer, we do not guarantee that the
change will be approved by the Transporter. Once approved, you will be charged an additional 10 euros,
which must be paid before your scheduled transfer.
If your meeting point with the Transporter is the airport, then the Transporter will monitor the arrival time
of your plane. In case you miss your flight, or the flight number has been postponed or changed, you
must notify us immediately. Any change is subject to acceptance by the Transporter.
from the flight arrival time , the Transporter is obliged to wait up to 60 minutes at the meeting point
indicated on your booking form. If you think you will be more than 60 minutes late, you should inform the
Transporter. In this case, there may be additional charges. Finally, in case 60 minutes pass and none of
your team has appeared, the Transporter will try to contact you through the phone number you gave
during the booking process. If he still cannot contact you, your transfer will be canceled, and your money
will not be refunded.
In case the meeting point is not the airport, the Transporter is obliged to wait for you for 15 minutes. If no
one of your team shows up, the Transporter will try to contact you at the phone number you provided
during your booking. If he cannot contact you, the reservation will be canceled, and your money will not
be refunded.
In case the customer is unable to locate the driver, he should contact Kos island Transfers immediately. If you
do not contact us and we are not aware of the incident, the transfer will be canceled, and the money will
NOT be refunded.
We cannot guarantee the type of vehicle that will be used by the Transporter. The Transporter has the
right to change the vehicle (always with the same or larger category) in order to complete your transfer.
The Transporter and Kos island Transfers reserve the right to refuse to transfer any person who is or appears
to be under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs and whether his or her behavior is considered to be a
threat for the driver, vehicle or other passengers. No refunds will be accepted in these cases.
Passengers are not allowed to consume alcohol, soft drinks and food inside the Transporter’s vehicles,
while smoking is also prohibited. In case of non-compliance with the above regulations, the Transporter
has the right to stop the transfer.
The vehicles provided by the Transporter are fully insured for the transport of passengers and other
demands, as required by local law. However, the passenger is the solely responsible for his luggage
and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage from Kos island Transfers and the Transporter. The vehicles used by the Transporter carry all the necessary documents in accordance with Greek
legislation.
Special requests:
If you have any special requests such as child seats, extra luggage space, etc., please let us know
during you booking. The Transporter will be informed of your request, however we cannot guarantee
that he will be able to satisfy them. Kos island Transfers bears no responsibility if your requests are not met. In
this unlikely event, you will be refunded the additional amount you paid for your request.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must notify us at least 24 hours before your transfer so that
you can be refunded the full amount. The costs of the banking transaction are paid by the customer. If a
reservation is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled transfer, the money will NOT be
refunded.
Our responsibility:
Kos island Transfers acts as a mean of reservations. Therefore, we do not accept any responsibility for the
performance of the services. Our responsibilities are limited to publishing information on our website
about the services provided by the Transporter as well as informing about any changes of your booking.
We are not responsible for any illness, injury, death or loss of any kind. This includes the loss, damage
or theft of any luggage or personal items belonging to you or your co-passengers. We only accept
liability for claims arising solely as a result of our negligence.
If we are liable to you for any reason, our maximum liability to you is limited to twice the cost of your
booking or the same amount if other people are not affected by your booking.
If the service you requested cannot be performed for reasons of force majeure beyond the control of
Kos island Transfers and the Transporter (e.g. accidents, change of course of plane, extreme weather,
demonstrations, police operations, incorrect booking data, non-existence of the booking form and other
similar circumstances), then you are not entitled to any compensation.
Passenger responsibilities:
The customer by making the reservation declares that

  1. he is at legal age and in full use of his intellectual abilities.
  2. the credit or debit cards he uses belong to him and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost
    of the service.
  3. he is responsible to verify that the booking data are correct, as well as, to inform Kos island Transfers of any changes that may affect the service, either by email or on the contact numbers provided. We
    recommend that you always check your email before travelling to ensure that no significant changes
    have been made to your booking. All notifications from us are sent to the email address you provided at
    the time of booking.
  4. he is aware that it is his responsibility to travel with the form of his reservation, where all the
    instructions for his arrival are given, as well as relevant contact numbers in case of emergency. Neither
    we nor the Transporter are responsible if the service is not performed due to the absence of the booking
    form.
  5. he is responsible for ensuring that the transfer service takes place at a date and time that meets
    the requirements of his journey in order to reach his destination in a timely manner.
    Problem in your transfer:
    If you encounter a problem with your transfer, please inform the Transporter or call us using the
    numbers on your booking form and we will immediately try to investigate the matter and fix the problem.
    Our failure to update promptly will affect our ability to investigate the matter better as well as your rights
    in accordance with the contract you have made with the Transporter. With this in mind, we would like to
    stress that all complaints must be sent in writing to the kostransfers@mail.com up to 15 days after the
    transfer has been carried out.
    Children and people with disabilities:
    During the booking you should let us know if you are travelling with children or with people with
    disabilities.
    We recommend that you bring with you your child safety system (child seats, booster), with which you
    are most familiar. If you do not want or cannot travel with your own safety system, you can request what
    you need at the time you make your reservation. Your request will be sent to the Transporter. The
    satisfaction of your request depends on the availability of the security system at the time the transfer
    takes place. In case the Transporter cannot satisfy your request, you have the right to be compensated
    for the additional costs, but not for the cost of the entire transfer.
    In case you do not ask us for a child safety system, your child will travel with the safety systems
    available to the vehicle (in the case of a taxi, in accordance with the European Directive 2003/20/EC and
    always in the back of the vehicle.
    In any case, a child or infant is counted as a regular passenger.
    Disabled people such as people with wheelchairs should report it in their booking and ensure that the
    vehicle they choose is suitable for their needs. They should also be able to enter the vehicle on their
    own or with the help of their co-passengers.
    Luggage:
    Each passenger is entitled to carry a luggage with a maximum combined size of 80cm. (length + width
    +height) as well as hand luggage such as small bags and handbags. Luggage should indicate up the
    owner’s details as well as the owner’s destination address.
    Any excess luggage must be declared during the booking process. The customer is responsible for any
    additional costs incurred in case additional vehicles are required to carry the additional undeclared
    luggage.
    By accepting these terms and conditions, you are always obliged to comply with the local laws and
    legislation where you are transferred. As a result, your luggage cannot contain any items prohibited by
    local law or legislation such as weapons, drugs, etc. or objects that can harm a third party. You still
    cannot carry pets without having declared it during your booking process and without having them with
    you in their special transport cage. You still cannot carry objects of excess size, weight, and sensitivity.
    We also recommend that you do not carry valuable or fragile items in your luggage.
    If you are travelling with a pet that you have not declared, the Transporter has the right to refuse
    transportation and the money are NOT refunded.
    The transfer of luggage and other personal items is solely at the customer’s responsibility and under no
    circumstances can Kos island Transfers be held liable for any loss or damage. We recommend that you take
    out travel insurance that covers any loss or damage.

    The trademarks and other intellectual property rights displayed on our website are the property of Kos island Transfers and are protected by national and international intellectual property rights. All content
    (including, but not limited to, texts, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio files or video, software) used
    on elite transfer’s website is protected by national and international intellectual property rights and any
    use, modification or reproduction without the express written consent of Elite Transfer is strictly
    prohibited. Any illegal use of the Kos island Transfers website for any purpose is strictly prohibited.
    Personal data:
    We have an obligation to protect your privacy. All personal data we collect from you should be
    processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may provide a copy of the Privacy Policy upon
    request or, alternatively, you may refer to our website. Please note that we can retain the data you
    provide on this website even if you do not complete your registration/transaction. The contact details can
    only be used to contact you and ask why you did not complete your registration/transaction.Kos island Transfers offers its website and makes every effort for its proper operation and maintenance. However,
    we cannot guarantee the absence of technical problems and errors, and that the website is free from
    viruses that can affect its operation. Any errors that may occur will be corrected as soon as possible
    once we become aware of their existence. In case of such errors we have the possibility to cancel a
    reservation and return the money to the customer.
